Armstrong Model 90 Sterling Silver Flute Serial Number U3766 for sale in Lakeland, FL
This is an Armstrong Model 90 flute with plateau keys (closed hole), offset G key, drawn tone holes, and a C foot joint. It is super clean, in great playing condition and ready to go. The head joint and body are solid sterling silver, and the mechanism is silver plated. The pads and springs are in great condition. The mechanism is smooth and the keys are responsive. The silver is bright and shiny and tarnish free. The body of the flute has light surface scratches from normal use. There is a slight ding on the outer edge of the lip plate that does not impact playability. I tried to capture this in the last photo, but it's so slight it's hard to see. The interior of the case is lined in blue plush fabric. The fabric shows some wear on the friction points. Includes the case, tuning rod and pad saver. I am a flutist, and this is from my personal collection. This is an excellent flute for an adult beginner or someone getting back into playing.
