  • Distribute daily census, daily agenda, and room
         census to each department by 9am. 

  • Follow up in a timely manner, new referrals
         that walk into the facility, faxed in from outside marketers and
         surrounding hospital case managers. 

  • Verify payer sources and request authorization of
         potential residents/referrals. 

  • Review clinical information for isolation
         precautions, DME equipment, and fall risk. 

  • Assign new resident to a room that is
         appropriate for each individual situation. 

  • Prepare new admission notification packet for
         nursing and deliver to appropriate station to insure nursing is prepared
         for new admission. 

  • Greet new admissions, upon arrival. 

  • Enter each new resident and returning residents
         into the AHT system, upon arrival. 

  • Prepare and complete Admissions sign-in packet
         with each resident within 48 hours. 

  • Tour potential residents and/or family members
         with interest in the facility. 

  • Address customer service concerns of residents
         and family members, with the appropriate departments.  

  • Maintain and update referral log, daily agenda,
         daily census, guardian angel assignments, and resident room board. 

  •  Prepare
         and submit all monthly reports for the department.
