Equipment Technician

Equipment technician responsibilities include the trouble-shooting, repair, maintenance, and modification of R&D, Production, QA/QC equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance tasks ensuring they are completed in a timely manner. If you're the Mr. Fix-it for semi-automated or automated machines, then apply with us today! This team needs individuals with a do whatever it takes attitude and sharp maintenance skills.
Successful Candidates will have:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with automated and semi-automated equipment.
- Good working knowledge of equipment controls, mechanics, pneumatics and inspection systems.
- Ability to perform Heavy work- Employee will need to exert up to 80 lbs. of force occasionally to move objects.
- Adaptability to situations requiring the precise attainment of set standards.
- Strong Communication skills
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary- Ability to come in when called in the event of unusual breakdowns or in the event that staff on duty needs assistance.
- A good working knowledge of mechanics and use of precision measuring tools, construction methods and techniques, electrical systems and controls, pneumatic, hydraulic and vacuum systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, perform their duties with a high level of skill, document work performed when required in a clear and legible manner, communicate their needs and the status of equipment being serviced as needed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
