- Punctuality and Attendance:
Follow attendance policy as outlined in employee handbook.
- Performs other duties as directed or assigned.
- Participate in all training regarding procedures, policy and safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and rapidly adapt to change.
- Communicate and implement change as directed.
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance in accordance with company policy- Actively maintain inventory accuracy through conducting daily warehouse activates and cycle counts.
- Maintain and promote high standards of customer service.
- Interact and partner with Drivers, Customer Service Staff, Sales, Representatives, Team Supervisors and Material Handlers when necessary.
- Administrative duties as required i.
e.
maintain and submit required reports, ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate efficient operation of Shipping and Receiving operations.
- Support standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices.
Requirements - High School Diploma or GED - 6 month - 1 years of Shipping and Receiving experience - Must be able to speak, read and write English - Good oral communication skills - Good organizational skills - Ability to interact with both management and associates - Computer proficiency would be a plus in (MRP, ERP, RF Scan System, MS Office Suite, Intra, Extra and Internet) Physical/Safety Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear.
- Continuously lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (seek assistance for greater amounts).
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- May be exposed to Hazardous materials.
