Sprinkler Fitter
Outsource is on the hunt for experienced fire sprinkler fitters to work in Lakeland, FL. Must have at least 6 months sprinkler fitter experience.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
(Duties include, but are not limited to)
oInstalling, repairing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems pipe and associated installation material for the operation of fire sprinkler equipment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
oAvailability to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet the customer installation requirements. Flexibility is required to adapt to changing work priorities, meeting deadlines and schedules, working independently and with interruptions, and complying with various requirements
oMust demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and supervisors
oMust be self-directed individual capable of working with minimal supervision
oExcellent communication skills- both written and oral
oMaintain regular, consistent, and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures
oWear appropriate safety equipment as required including hats and shoes.
oAbility to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to forty pounds
oProperly secure all tools and equipment at the end of each work period so as to prevent damage or loss.
oAbility to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer installation requirements.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
(Work Environment)
oShop facility or yard environment
oThe noise level in work environment is usually moderate
oPerform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to forty feet, working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS/
Experience:
oHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
oExperience in maintaining job site documentation, i.e. time sheets, As-Built drawings
oAbility to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities
oHand tool and power tool usage experience
oMust have a valid drivers license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
MUST consent to a background check and drug test.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
