Medical Assistant Specialist I Dermatology Full Time

Education: High school diploma or GED Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program Medical Assistant Certification by the American Association of Medical Assistant (AAMA) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) within 3 month of employment is required Experience: Prior experience or training in ambulatory health care facility 2 years prior experience in Dermatology required, three (3) years experience preferred Other Requirements: CPR certification to be completed within three months of employment Responsibilities: Summons and prepares patient for office visit Assists the physician with medical office procedures Administers medication, including injections; documents medication given or prescribed by ordering physicians as required by specialty Adheres to nursing policy and procedure when documenting information in patient?s medical record Maintains the integrity of the office Assumes responsibility for maintaining current certification in CPR Accepts responsibility for reading and referencing new policies and procedures and Nursing Update newsletters

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
