Our company is seeking veterinary technicians who have general practice and/or emergency medicine experience in the veterinary field.
Motivated individuals pursuing advanced training in technical and critical care medicine will have opportunity to do so in a dynamic setting.
Nursing duties include, but not limited to, direct communication with pet owners about history, treatment plans, and estimates, perform diagnostics, phlebotomy, ICU admittance, and anesthesia and monitoring.
We are looking for veterinary technicians who will work under the supervision of our caring and dedicated veterinarians, interacting with our clients to provide quality animal care and compassionate advice.
Technical skills and general knkowledge of medicine, anesthesia and surgery appreciated.
VETS ER is paperless and efficient.

Responsibilities:
Understand proper care and nutrition of domestic animals.
Understand basic oral and physical exam techniques.
Be able to communicate with clients and be a good listener.
Know various causes of illness in pets.
Be able to show empathy to clients when they have lost a pet.
Understand animal laws.
Understand animal behavior and be able to identify abnormal behavior.
Be able to handle frightened or aggressive animals in a safe manner for staff, doctors and pet owners.
