POSITION OVERVIEW The Media Manager position will primarily manage media relationships.
This position will also perform a variety of duties to include project management, content creation, design development, sponsorship management, and identifying branding opportunities internally and externally.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Media Relations:
The majority of this position's duties is managing Media Relationships.
The primary duties include but are not limited to the following:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
Proactively pitch stories, press releases, and media opportunities to secure coverage and enhance brand visibility.
Monitor media coverage and sentiment and respond promptly to inquiries and requests.
Negotiate media contracts within overall marketing budget.
Content Creation:
Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for press releases, articles, blog posts, social media posts, and other marketing collateral.
Develop content strategies aligned with brand objectives, target audience, and industry trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice across all channels.
Manage content calendar and ensure campaign deadlines are met.
Adherence to marketing compliance by coordinating, archiving, and maintaining internal marketing procedures.
Will work directly with leadership and compliance officer to maintain oversight.
Design Development:
Conceptualize and create visually appealing designs for digital and print materials, including graphics, illustrations, infographics, and presentations.
Utilize design software and tools to produce high-quality visuals that enhance storytelling and engage the audience.
Maintain brand identity standards and ensure visual consistency across all marketing materials.
Sponsorship Management:
Identify and evaluate potential sponsorship opportunities aligned with brand values, target audience, and marketing objectives.
Negotiate sponsorship agreements and contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and deliverables.
Coordinate sponsorship activations, events, and promotional campaigns to maximize brand exposure and engagement.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize bank sponsored event participation and engagement.
Fulfill responsibilities under the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
This may include identifying customers properly, initiating CTRs and SARs investigations as needed, utilizing OFAC records and maintaining appropriate records.
Adhere to the Bank's policies and procedures and all Federal and State laws and regulations.
Perform any other duties, as assigned.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience preferred.
Minimum five years of marketing experience preferred.
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Suite.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES General office environment that requires the extensive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
Frequently required to sit / stand for extended periods of time, reach with arms and hands, stand, walk, stoop, talk and hear.
May be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
