Graduate Assistant - Office of Research and Strategic ProjectsThe office of Research and Strategic Projects is seeking a Graduate Assistant to join our team.
This role provides research and administrative support to the RSP team.
The successful candidate will analyze data, prepare reports, organize meetings, and provide general administrative support.
They will report to the Director.
This is a year-round position.
The successful candidate must be a current SEU graduate student.
Graduate Assistant Duties and ResponsibilitiesoAssist the RSP team with administrative tasks such as calendaring events, updating project management documents, organizing meetings, and managing select communication.
oPerform peer/scholarly research, summarize literature, compile bibliographies.
oAssist in collection, cleaning, and preparation of data.
oPrepare reports for SEU constituents.
oAssist in managing, updating and creating Power Bi dashboards and reports.
oCreate slide decks, PowerPoint presentations, screencasts and PDFs as requested.
oPerform social media research.
QualificationsoAble to work independently and as part of a team.
oAbility to perform independent research.
oAbility to write and communicate clearly.
oStrong organizational skills.
oProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointoStrong desire to learn and expand one's skills and experience.
oStrong interest in research; math, social sciences, or education; and/or graphic design helpful.
oMaintain academic eligibility.
Recommended Skills Communication Coordinating Dashboard Data Analysis Education General Administrative Support Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
