Plants flowers, mows, pulls weeds, repair structures, maintains outside of building, maintain community irrigations system including heads, timers, and valves.
Repair broken irrigation pipes when necessary.
Reports to:
Community Manager Primary Duties & Responsibilities Perform groundskeeping and building maintenance duties.
Ensure common area lawns are manicured appropriately.
Regularly treat for weeds, weed trim, rake leaves, plant flowers/shrubs, spread mulch/woodchips/stones, trim shrubs and hedges, cut and remove tree limbs damaged by adverse weather conditions, and perform other lawn care services as necessary.
Perform routine maintenance duties such as applying plaster, fixing fountains, and other duties.
Sweep or walkways, and amenity courts of debris.
Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping.
Inspect repair/replace irrigation heads, timers, and valves.
Ensure all areas of the community are received adequate watering, including watering plants in pots or containers.
Install rock, cement, lighting, water, and furniture.
Clean resort amenities which may include clubhouses, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, resort offices, restrooms, laundry areas, bath houses, and maintenance garage.
Inspect irrigation system regularly to ensure it is working properly, repair as necessary, including main line repairs.
Inspect recreational areas and equipment, pool/spa area, and other amenities to ensure everything is in good condition, making minor repairs as needed.
Ensure all community streets and public access routes are free of hazards.
Maintain community pool(s), test chemical levels, and adjust appropriately, where applicable.
Maintain community vehicles and equipment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Position requires candidate to have reliable transportation to work.
Valid Driver's License.
Must be able to lift thirty pounds on a regular basis and be able to withstand long periods on your feet.
Must be able complete work assignments with minimal supervision, and possess strong organizational skills.
Evening and weekend work may be required based on the needs of the department.
