Systems Analyst/Programmer - POS Frontend & Business Logic at Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, FL
Description Publix is seeking a Systems Analyst Programmer who will play a key role interacting with enterprise teams to define and develop architecture, technical requirements, interfaces, & implementation approaches for point of sale applications. As a member of this technology team, you will have an opportunity to influence architecture & design across enterprise/cross-functional teams in a high paced environment, participate in understanding customer/associate feedback to resolve or improve technical issues and develop, own, and drive implementation of the technology roadmap for point of sale solutions. On this team we are seeking a technical candidate with strong analytical, design, planning and problem solving skills as well as strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. The most suitable candidate will be able to communicate effectively with management, peers, technology vendors, and business unit customers. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience Minimum of four years of I/T experience in application design, development and delivery Minimum four years of experience in analyzing complex business problems or processes and translating business requirements into technology solutions that factor in system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability, and total cost of ownership Must have at least four years recent experience designing enterprise class solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, UML, service-oriented architecture, and solution frameworks Minimum four years of experience as a development lead in an enterprise environment Minimum four years of experience leveraging C# or VB.NET Minimum four years of experience with SQL Server 2008, 2012 or 2016 Must have experience with Visual Studio 2015/2017/2019 Must have excellent communication skills Additional Required Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Five years' experience developing and supporting enterprise applications running in a multi-platform distributed environment Five or more years recent experience designing enterprise class solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, UML, service-oriented architecture, and solution frameworks Five years' experience with Retail concepts and related application software Knowledge of Infrastructure related systems client/server, workstations, servers, networks, midrange, mainframe, database, and middleware technologies like MQ Experience with source control preferably TFS Experience with performance/load testing Experience with Microsoft PowerShell Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) Experience developing new applications within Scrum/Agile methodology Experience with Azure Devops Experience with C+
Strong technical understanding of the .NET Framework Strong technical understanding of data modeling concepts Be able to work with minimal supervision within a large corporate environment
Salary Range:
$80K -- $150K
