Department Information Systems Description The Transportation Team is currently seeking a motivated individual for a Systems Analyst/Developer position. The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise environments and teams to perform analysis, gather requirements and develop systems. The ideal candidate will also possess strong analytical skills, be able to communicate efficiently across and external teams, be able to work as part of a larger company and use their own initiative. Job responsibilities include:
Analyzing and translating business requirements into technology solutions that consider system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies and scalability Performing data analysis by creating and executing complex queries, interpreting results, and communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences Designing and developing enterprise class solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, UML, service-oriented architecture and solution frameworks Document technical design models, specifications and test results Serve as an application expert on assigned application(s) Participate in an production support rotation Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical disciplines or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years' IT experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) of enterprise applications in large-scale distribution environments as well as its support Minimum of 5 years' experience with .Net Core, Javascript, C#, Micro Services Architecture (MSA), Kafka, Azure DevOps, Angular and automation pipelines CI/CD Experience with enterprise database management systems Able to identify and support process improvements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable with presenting and demonstrating recent changes to both technical and non-technical audiences Excels at working with a team and promoting collaboration Strong work ethic, positive attitude and desire for continuous learning Additional Required Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Experience working with transportation systems software packages (e.g. Transportation Management System, Onboard Computers, Trailer Tracking, Tractor Cameras) preferably within an enterprise level company Experience analyzing supply chain logistics problems and providing solutions Familiarity with Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP) and Statement of Work (SOW) procedures Experience with management 3rd party vendor relationships and negotiations Knowledge of domain-based technologies Experience with shell scripting 7
years' experience with IT project management Experience supporting data and process governance of distribution system compliance in accordance with company policies, standard and SOX requirements Understanding of cloud base solutions and architecture patterns/concepts Strong aptitude for multi-tasking, time and workload management, self motivation and adherence to strict
Salary Range:
$80K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
