Job Description:
Manages the Equipment Design Specifications :
Manages a team of employees directly associated with the scope and duties of the equipment team and technical automation; Leads a cross functioanl team including Facilities, QA, RA, Operations, Equipment Team, Sustaining Engineering, R and D, IT and Maintenance in order to complete taget projects.

Manages the installation and documentation of new and existing equipment.
:
Able to perform Installation Qualifications (IQ), Operational Qualifications (OQ) and Performance Qualifications (PQ).
Responsible for the Equipment Control Process.
Coordinates and manages the responsibilities of the Equipment Coordinator and Project Engineers as required.

Ability to delegate responsibilities when necessary while provising clear strategy and direction.

Maintain necessary training on department procedures.
:
Manage time and resources effectively through use of positive problem solving skills.

Available to assist in required modifications to equipment procedure.

Maintain necessary training on department procedures.

Accountable to the team to ensure that all applied technologies are practical, operator friendly, compliant and reliable.

Insures controls and instrumentation maintenance activities are performed and conform to GMPs, SOPs, OSHA, and environmental requirements.

Lead the automation team to develop and implement the sites automation strategy.

Prioritize, drive, update and track automation projects.
:
Coordinate Vendors' resources to realize automation opportunities.
:
Prepare and develop Capital improvement documents such as CER and back up material as required.
:
Track progress and report progress to management of each project in a matrix format which includes Major Milestones tracked in projects, Recent Accomplishments, Next Steps and Issue/risk.
EDUCATION:
Minimum :
BA or BS in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent experience :
Experience:
Minimum :
5 years of medical device, FDA or other regulated experience.

Minimum of 3 years in project management and managing projects.

Effective written and oral communication skills.
Working knowledge of FDA and ISO requirements.
Demonstrate leadership skills.
High ethical standards, well organized.
Ability to interact with all associates.
Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Visio.
