Job Description Valencia Hills Health and Rehabilitation is now hiring a full-time Registered Nurse ( RN ) or Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) to work as a Wound Care Nurse, who is committed to providing the best life and care for our residents. The Wound Care Nurse ensures that the high quality of nursing care is delivered efficiently and effectively, supervises and coordinates activities of nursing personnel on the assigned unit, manages resident care through MDS, care planning process, and resident assessments/observations, and directs the Infection Control program for the facility. Valencia Health and Rehabilitation is a 249-bed Skilled Nursing facility, located in the heart of Lakeland that specializes in short-term rehabilitation, long-term care and memory care services. Qualifications: Current Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) orRegistered Nurse ( RN ) License by the State Wound Care Certification Desired Skilled Nursing Experience Preferred Must have good assessment skills, be self motivated, and have great customer service skills Able to work well with wound care consultant and organization is important #2023Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
