Responsibilities:
Performs the installation, configuration, and operation of any new or existing network infrastructure device(s) and supporting software across the enterprise.
Includes all LANs, WANs, wireless networks, servers, routers, hubs, switches, UPS's, etc.
Troubleshoots network related problem areas and issues as needed to resolve operational issues and restore/optimize services.
Ensures proper network connectivity of all sites, servers, workstations, telephone equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances.
Implements and maintains policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
Practices network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory, related documentation, and technical specifications information.
Schedules and performs new and existing equipment, software, and hardware upgrades.
Reports network metrics related to performance, availability and capacity.
Maintains current knowledge of networking related topics, including emerging technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory/compliance related concerns.
Participates in managing all network security solutions.
Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Job Requirements Knowledge & Skills:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree or similar experience YEARS OF
Experience:
2 year s minimum experience in the multi-site network environment REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Expertise in creating repeatable, reliable, scalable network architectures, with fault tolerance, performance tuning, monitoring systems, statistics/metrics collection, and disaster recovery Working knowledge (including the ability to setup, configure, upgrade, manage, and troubleshoot) Cisco routers, switches, VPN concentrators, firewalls, 802.
11 wireless access points, and load balancers Understanding of transport protocols, routing protocols, and security/authentication protocols at all layers of the OSI model with emphasis on TCP/IP are essential Must have knowledge networking features and protocols such as spanning tree, ARP, CDP, EIGRP, RIP, OSPF, BGP, VTP, Etherchannel, 802.
1Q trunking, MLS, HSRP, QoS, multicast, 802.
11, IPsec, Frame Relay, RADIUS/TACACS, T-1/E-1, BRI/PRI, MPLS, dial-up services, and caching services.
Additional areas of expertise in areas such as VoIP, DSL, dial-up, and cable access desired.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
Cisco CCNP/CCDP or CCIE certifications preferred Experience with network management tools such as Sniffers, Ethereal, MRTG, Whats Up Gold, or CNX preferred Experience supporting Windows and UNIX products systems/applications on networking technologies.
Certifications and/or experience equivalent to MCSE, Solaris, and Linux a plus Source:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
