## Job Description ## _Band Generic Position Summary_ _Specific Job Summary_ Primary Objective:
Scope:
No direct reports Will lead advanced problem resolution and improvement efforts, integration of new technology, and projects as assigned.
Services are global in nature and will participate with on-call rotation for operational and project support.
Generic Expected Contributions Performs more complex quantitative and qualitative analysis for business processes and/or projects.
Often manages small projects, business processes or parts of larger ones.
Responsible for own work and contributing to team, department and/or business results.
May direct work of non-management staff.
Assists more senior associates in achieving business results by:
Participating in setting department operating plans.
Recognizing and celebrating team successes.
Achieving results against budget within scope of responsibility.
Demonstrates an awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement and acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge.
Performs other duties as appropriate.
_Specific Expected Contributions_ Key Accountabilities:
Perform system analysis to ensure initiative database related requirements are understood and accomplished during all project and production support phases.
Ensure access to SQL Server aligns to the expectations of the customers in regards to availability, recoverability, and response time while ensuring proper security provisioning.
Create all assigned documentation to support design proposals, integration turnovers, operational support standards, security requirements, and configuration information for database management and other IR processes.
Participate with the implementation of, and make recommendations for, standards and procedures as they relate to database technology.
Work with other IR peer groups such as System Administration, Service Desk, Application Development, Application Architecture, and Server Engineering to integrate and support Infrastructure relating to SQL Server.
Works with vendors to resolve issues.
Shares knowledge with team members to ensure a well-trained and qualified staff.
Completes tasks assigned and project work within scope, priority, timelines, and budget.
Continually increases knowledge of SQL Server to support SME and problem resolution.

Generally a professional position with specific knowledge in a discipline (e.
