Complete Description Education:
Two:
year associate degree in business (or two years experience in pharmaceutical purchasing).
Experience:
Two years experience in pharmaceutical purchasing; with one year experience in inventory control, medication issues, and distribution.
Other Requirements:
Must be able to multitask efficiently with good computer skills.
Pharmacy Tech certification as required by the state.
Responsibilities:
:
Receive and process all incoming medication and re:
distribute per purchase order, or put into stock as specified.
Review and process invoice discrepancy file as needed.
:
Process all expired medications/sample drugs, per established procedure.
Conduct a weekly inventory to verify inventory accuracy and to ensure that stock rotation and dating are in compliance.

Adjust inventory:
stocking levels to prevent overstocking and to ensure inventory:
stocking levels are adequate for seasonal demands.
:
Monitor and maintain item master file and Vendor files in database.
Review, confirm, and make changes and pricing adjustments in the editor and item master database as needed Additional Information Rotating Shifts may be required.
