Lab Technician Lab Technician - Job Purpose:
To dispense prescribed medications from either a batch prepared in anticipation of a script or by compounding a special formula prescribed uniquely for a patient. Lab Technician - Job Duties:
Fill bottles with prescribed medications and affix labels. Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs. Order, label, and count stock of medications, chemicals, and supplies, and enter inventory data into computer. Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against invoices, and inform supervisors of stock needs and shortages. Must have and maintain up to date all state and national (if applicable) technician licensing and compounding certifications. Skills/
