Master's degree in physics
Experience:
Five years experience required Other Requirements:
Must be Board certified Licensed physicist in the state of FL Must have previous experience as a physicist
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operation of department Assists in daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly Quality Assurance checks on linear accelerators, dosimetry, and treatment planning equipment Assists in semi-annual, annual, and bi-annual Quality Assurance checks and surveys on various radiation instruments Assists in preventative maintenance and maintenance on equipment Assists in Interstitial and Intracavity dosimetry and handling, as well as High Dose Rate applications Monitors and handles the fabrication of patient devices Source:
