Patient Support Technician - ICU/PCU - (Plant City)
The Patient Support Tech is a member of the health care team who performs direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction and supervision of a RN or LPN.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION High School diploma or GED Successful completion of a healthcare training program - PCT, CNA, EMT, MA , or military training.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:
BLS PREFERRED CERTIFICATION:
CNA, MA, PCT PREFERRED
Experience:
One year hospital One year Unit Secretary One year Monitor Tech SPECIFIC SKILLS:
Interpersonal, customer service skills, computer skills appropriate to the position - phlebotomy and EKG skills.
